GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Partner Managers primary responsibility is the recruitment of new partners (prospects). This is done with a very well defined and proven process for closing business. Responsibilities include:

  • Following up with warm leads
  • Registering prospects for our educational webinar
  • Following up with webinar attendees
  • Closing new business
  • Warm introductions to Partner Development Managers


SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate for Partner Manager position will encompass the following attributes and characteristics:

  • High energy with a desire to help fuel the growth of our company.
  • A passion to contribute and drive the growth of our dynamic company.
  • IT and/or service sales experience an asset.
  • Highly motivated, mature, self starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Experience in systems and network management software desirable.
  • Knowledge of the reseller channels an asset.
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding quota’s and a strong ability to close the sale.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Confident in ability in dealing with IT managers, and C level decision makers.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet critical quotas and are commission motivated.
  • Excellent personal communication skills.
  • Organized and proficient with contract management software.
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft office.
  • Ability to travel (occasional trade show)
  • A positive, respectful, friendly and outgoing personality.
